There is actually a capitalist explanation for this. The idea is that if something runs 9.99$ those interest in buying will see the 9 and round down to make it 9$ even though it is closer to 10$.

I’m not entirely sure what good this will do, but I absolutely will NOT sit by and let it go without discussion.

On one of my ventures between servers to speak to some old friends, I happened across a horrible sight. Melrony Crime Family spread to WrA. Let me tell you how angry I got when I saw that.

Not only is this guild ran by a shitty man who will harass you OOC, but he is also known and proven to ERP knowingly with MINORS. You want proof? Message me. I’m part of the reason that guild is no longer on Moon Guard. I feel terrible for the current members, but this is abhorrent.

Please, get your friends away from that disaster guild. While on MG, those officers harassed their members and made them feel like shit. Upon leaving, they were treated like shit and made to feel like they couldn’t even log onto the game without some nasty, hateful shit whispered. I even received some hate after creating my own guild and taking in members who didn’t feel welcome in their ranks. I still receive hate from old Melrony members on alts.

I was never a part of this guild, but I watched as many of my friends were destroyed by them. I lost an RP partner for the better part of a year over that guild. I’m fucking glad they’re off MG, but I worry for WrA.

Please, spread this fucking word. Selvatore Melrony can eat my shit.

I can also confirm, as a former MG roleplayer, quite a few things about him. Though, what I have experienced and heard was all in voice chat. Sadly, that can not be captured in a screenshot. Either way, you can add another person to the list of people who have dealt with this man and his guild.

They always start off (when they start over, mind you this is just one of a long list of do overs for them) being cordial and kind to people. They build a large guild of minors and new roleplayers. Selvatore then shapes and molds them into the worst kind of people. They are Stepford Wives, only in roleplay form.

Often they are teenager girls who have issues at home, though boys are not excluded. He then uses his “southern charm” to snake his way into their lives in any way that he can. If they are smart enough to avoid ERP with him, he will use them in other ways. They have infiltrated guilds to gather IC information on an OOC basis which is then used to metagame things both in roleplay and to harass outside of roleplay.

When I was last introduced to them through roleplay on MG he had all of the minors tagged in his guild Discord as “jail-bait”. This was a way for him to appear as if he was in fact marking them so people would not attempt bad things with them. The truth of it was that he had been accused of such things before and he was simply trying to save face. Multiple females from his guild, all of which were marked as “jail-bait” in his Discord, have come forward in the past to confirm having ERPed with him on more than one occasion.

Most, if not all, of these girls either did not save proof, or will not come forward anymore. This is due to the continued and constant harassment they would receive from not only him, but his entire guild after. From threatening to release nude, to DOXXing, to nearly simple rumor mongering- He does not let up on these girls.

His temper is set on such a short fuse you never know when they next blow up is going to be or what will set it off. No one is safe from his explosions either.

I was once in a Discord call where he allowed a guild member to call another guild member a “porch monkey”. This guild member was a POC and extremely offended. When this person left the guild, all they did was laugh. No one was reprimanded or told not to do so again. It just became a guild joke.That person also remained an officer of the guild for many, many months to come.

Selvatore also knew that one of his members was a minor male and catfishing another woman on the server. Blatantly lying to not only his own guild, but this woman whom he was roleplaying with. He did not inform anyone and kept the young mans secret, basically promoting pedophilia.

I have been in SEVERAL discord calls where he flew off the handle screaming and yelling at his wife and children so badly that everyone who was in the call had to beg the other officers to mute him so we did not have to listen to him, or be involved in his private affairs. Most of the time, if not all of them, it was his wife asking for some assistance with their children, or some help around the house that would require him to leave his computer for all of 5 min. This escalated to the point one evening where he threatened to not allow them to eat the dinner he had purchased for them.

The racism and sexism that follow not only him, but his guild are far to many to list in a single Tumblr post at 6am.

Beware WRA. “Most” of his guild is misguided, young, and honestly looking for better. But, know, there will be drama. There will be metagaming. There will be godmodding. There WILL be OOC. I very, very seldom condone a blacklist, but… as long as these people hold this guild tag and roleplay with this guilds GM, I will hold a personal one for them.

There is an Imgur album floating around with a number of gathered screenshots of thing about him and his guild. I did not take any of them and can not confirm their accuracy, but if any of you are interested in seeing them I can give the link out in a private message.

I feel I should add onto this. Prepare for long winded yelling :) I have heard and experienced much of the aforementioned behavior, as well as seen it. One of my closest friends is one such minor(at the time)he tried to make his victim, and another girl was no older than 14, as well as one girl who was 17, prior to his return to moon guard from wyrmrest/remaking of melrony(2+ years ago). He does use their insecurities and youth against them but will use any ammunition he has on anyone, of age or not. It has been over 2 years since I left his group and since then there has been an instance of cross-realm harassment, lies/slander directed my way, an accusation leveled on ME after I called him on his behavior once it had come to harassment.

There is too much I could say about this man. He preys on any woman in his guild. He tried to do it to me even though I had a boyfriend, and while I was of age, that does not make the pressure less by any stretch. I, and I’m sure many others as well, was scared to outright reject him simply because we didn’t want to lose the guild and fun we otherwise had. But come the time I was really finding out about his behavior towards CHILDREN, it was getting to be too much. He’s a person who fabricates lies about anyone he decides he doesn’t like, and uses the vulnerable. He is scum, and honest to god.. I have never managed to truly hate someone as much as I despise him.

To add onto the accusations of child abuse, he himself did claim I was slandering him(ironic, since he or someone from that group slandered me) when I spoke of a rumored occasion that he was heard striking his crying child. I heard that directly from the source who had allegedly heard him, but take that with a grain of salt alongside what you know from the other replies. What I can confirm by only ear, is that he is verbally abusive to his children. He insults them and told me many times that he wished he didn’t have them(adding that if his wife and children were not in the way, he would be with me). Whilst knowing I was taken as well. There is one distinct memory of him threatening physical harm to his INFANT and TODDLER over figurines. He treated them like inconveniences, going so far as to yell at them to shut up when they cried. Imagine that. Babies crying. Its almost like that is their ONLY way to communicate their needs. This is not a nice man.

I shouldn’t have been surprised and nor should any of you when you finally see him for the trash he is. He told me about his spotty past and I regrettably gave him a chance because he said he had grown up and become better. He didn’t. The only thing he got better at was hiding who he really is. He also told me about people with vendettas against him, and I wish I had heard WHY.

On one occasion he also sent me a nude he had claimed to have gotten from a girl he knew on WoW, and he claimed it was an accident and to forget it ever happened, completely neglecting to delete it like he should have done. He wants to make himself seem more desirable, as if he has women climbing all over him and that he’s a ladies man. Case in point by how he tried to tell me repeatedly that he’s amazing in the sack.

I left moon guard after parting with that guild because of these people. Because I was afraid like so many other people, that the drama would follow me after I left and lo and behold, it did anyways.

And maybe, just maybe some of them, if not most of them, are innocent in all of this. I wouldn’t be surprised considering how manipulative he is. But I firmly believe many of them also know about his shitty behavior, from being a sexual predator to his lies. In fact, I know some of them know, because they have stuck with him and sniffed his dick all the way to Wyrmrest Accord despite them asking me why I left and being told OUTRIGHT what happened to make me leave. You know who the fuck you are. You know he’s terrible and yet you support him. You are NO better than he is, and I have no respect for you. He acted like I was his best friend and turned on me easily, and lied without remorse. He talked shit behind your back too, just so you know. He wanted to have me, as an officer, kick you when you eventually got too annoying so he wouldn’t take the blowback for it. And I never liked you, I won’t lie, but at least I didn’t pretend to be your friend like he does while trashing on you in the next moment. He does it to everyone. None of you are special to him. I wish those who are innocent all the best, and I wish for better for you. But the ones who know and enable him? Get fucked. You have helped him ruin so many people’s RP experiences and love for writing, including mine. I can’t forget the sour taste in my mouth. And worse yet you make children the victims. I have blacklisted them all myself simply to avoid the whole deal but seeing them and even RPing near them is nerve wracking.

To wrap this up? Fuck you, selv. Fuck. You. You are abhorrent. You are slime. You deserve all the hate you get and more.
